Meizu introduced Apple AirPods Competitor: Meizu Halo and Meizu Pop

The Chinese company Meizu introduced two pairs of new headphones. The first is the Meizu Halo wired earbuds with built-in laser light in the cable and the second is the Meizu Pop which is true wireless earbuds and comes with a charging dock and carrying case.

Meizu Halo earbuds

Meizu Halo in-ear earbuds equipped with a cable, but also connected to the smartphone via Bluetooth. At the end of the cable there is a small control unit, which housed the battery and Osram laser diode system. It also has CORNING custom side-emitting glass fiber, so the brightness is thorough and uniform. The brightness and backlight can be controlled through a special mobile application.

Meizu pop true wireless earbuds

The second is the Meizu Pop true wireless earbuds. They are made in a compact white body weighing just 5.8 grams each. Earbuds are supplied with the charging dock, also serving as a carrying case. It replenishes the charge with a USB Type-C cable or wireless charging via Qi. Meizu earbuds can be controlled via both using smartphone and through the sensor surface on the case.

Meizu earbuds

Both the new Meizu earbuds will be on sale from April 29, but so far only in China. Meizu Halo will be priced at about $159, while the Pop at $79.
