Meizu A5 has been officially launched in China. It is one of the latest budget smartphones in its new “Meizu A” series from the company being launched today. The handset is available in Black, Silver, and Gold color options and the Meizu A5 price in China is also very affordable at CNY 699 – approximately $103. It is already up for sale on its official website in China.
Meizu A5 Specifications
The Meizu A5 features a 5.0-inch IPS LCD display with HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution that can translate a pixel density of 294ppi, 1000:1 contrast ratio, and 400nit brightness. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor which supported by 64-bit MediaTek MT6737 chipset clubbed with Mali-T720 GPU. It packs in 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card.
On the camera front, the A5 flaunts an 8-megapixel primary autofocus camera with f/2.0 aperture, 4P Lens, and dual-tone LED flash. There is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture, Face Exposure and ArcSoft Smart Beauty Algorithm to enhance your selfie. The front has a physical Home button but does not mention whether it includes a fingerprint sensor in it or not.
The listing also not providing which Android version is installed in the device as well as company’s own Flyme OS. It packs a 3060mAh battery and supports dual SIM slot with dual standby. For connectivity includes 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, microUSB 2.0 and 3.5 mm audio jack options. For sensors, includes Gravity sensor, Infrared sensor, and Ambient sensor options.
