Meizu 16X With 6-inch AMOLED Display, In-display Fingerprint Sensor, SD 710 Launched

Along with the Meizu X8, the company also announced the Meizu 16X smartphone in China. It is mid-budget device comes with a 6.0-inch AMOLED display, Snapdragon 710 Soc, 6GB RAM, Dual Rear Cameras and fingerprint sensor.

Meizu 16X Price and Availability

The Meizu 16X price in China starts from CNY 2,098 – approximately $206 for the 64GB storage version and the 128GB storage version costs CNY 2,398 – approximately $349. It will be available for order today and goes on sale in China from September 26, 2018. The handset comes in Black, White and Gold color options.

Meizu 16X Specifications

The Meizu 16X features a 6-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ (2160 × 1080 pixels) resolution, 100000:1 contrast ratio, 430cd/m2 brightness, and 402ppi pixel per density. The device has a 90.62% screen-body ratio and 7.5mm slim metal unibody design. It is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core processor which supported by Snapdragon 710 10nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 616 GPU and 6GB of RAM. It packs a 64GB / 128GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card.

On the camera front, the 16X flaunts a 12-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, 1.55µm pixel size, Sony IMX380 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, Four-axis OIS, PDAF, Laser auto-focus along with a 20-megapixel secondary camera with Sony IMX350 sensor, f/2.6 aperture, 6-LED ring LED flash, AI beauty recognition and Face unlock.

The Meizu 16X has an In-display fingerprint sensor and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based on Flyme OS out of the box. It packs a 3100mAh battery with mCharge fast charging and supports dual SIM slot with dual standby. For connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5, and USB C. The device measures 151×73.5×7.5mm and weighs 154 grams.
