A very popular selfie-focused smartphone manufacturer from China called Meitu has introduced an updated version of the T9. The new version is called the Meitu T9 Brilliant Edition.
The main differences, when compared to its predecssor, are the glass back panel, the display with huge Notch at the top and the ring flash around the rear camera module. It comes with a four-camera sensor: dual 12MP + 5MP at the front and the same setup for the rear as well. Both camera sensors can be used to capture a perfect portrait shot.
Meitu T9 Brilliant Edition also offers all the built-in photo editing tools, which is typical for the Meitu’s smartphones. The handset is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, coupled with 4GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, AKM4376 Hi-Fi audio chip, a 2900mAh battery and a 5.88-inch AMOLED display with 2244 × 1080 pixels resolution. The device running Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box.
The smartphone is available in Rose Gold color and will cost CNY 3,499 – approximately $510. However, there are also two limited versions including Sailor Moon and Hello Kitty. The first one offers several accessories in the style of the famous anime and will cost CNY 200 extra, and the other comes in Bright Red color.
