LG will launch a new Android smartphone called V30+α (Alpha) in February at MWC 2018, according to a new report from the Korean Herald. And recently the information has officially been confirmed by LG as well.
LG V30+α is said to be the version of the successor LG V30 / V30+, which will own advanced AI features – probably related to the Google Assistant, because of the fact that LG and Google are Collaboration is very close at this stage.
The LGV30 “α” or “Alpha” suffix has been set by LG for past products, typically the LG Q6 Alpha, launched in July 2017.
So many people think that V30α will follow the direction of Q6 Alpha is to hit the affordable segment. This is also the same view of CEO Lee Seong-jin at CES 2018 on the maintenance and longer support for the current smartphone.
