After the presentation of the webOS 2.0 at CES 2015, now the LG concentrates on a new form of the webOS 3.0 furthermore wanting to launch at CES-Consumer Electronics Show 2016 in Las Vegas, starts from January 6 to 9. LG will focus on enhancing the accessibility and usefulness for users to control their Smart TV.
LG Electronics has reported that it will reveal its new range of Smart TVs highlighting the latest webOS 3.0 smart TV platform. There will be three new notable features in new webOS Operating System such as Magic Mobile Connection which will allow us to connect smartphones to the smart TV through the LG TV Plus application and access mobile applications on the TV screen; Magic Remote, which is said to be intended to make controlling set-top boxes easier with the addition of new buttons; and Magic Zoom feature enables larger objects and letters without without losing image quality.
In addition, new webOS gives you a chance to watch multiple channels at the same time, even multiple output sources such as Blu-ray movie; Music Player app will play music through the webOS 3.0 TV speakers while the TV is switched off. LG additionally incorporates an application which they called IoTV to control the set-top box connected to a TV, a music application to enjoy music from the TV speakers, and smart home appliances from LG and other manufacturers.
The webOS 3.0 will also packs a new Channel Plus feature that will that will give a scope of over-the-top (OTT) content; LG tied up with Xumo to offer free digital content from broadcasters and publications including Time, Bloomberg, Wall Street Journal and Conde Nast Entertainment.
