LG UP970 4K Ultra HD HDR Blu-ray player on Amazon UK for £349.00

LG’s first UHD Blu-ray Player UP970 with DolbyVision HDR has appeared in the Amazon UK online store. While the stock has been limited and LG UP970 4K Ultra HD HDR Blu-Ray Player price in the store is £349.00.

The LG UP970 4K was first introduced at CES 2017 without much detail, will support HDR10 (High Dynamic Range) formats and Dolby Vision HDR via a firmware update. Connectivity provides a dual HDMI output to separate audio and video (useful for anyone who owns an audio system with HDMI-of-date), an Ethernet port and Wi-Fi connectivity. Access to the network will use the Ultra HD resolution streaming services and presumably with HDR. The reference is to the usual Netflix, YouTube and Amazon.

LG UP970 player is one of the cheapest UHD player news in 2017. In addition to the lower pricing, this LG Blu-ray Player can also feature Dolby Vision HDR. This extended HDR format is not yet supported by any player. Only premium manufacturer Oppo has announced a Dolby Vision update for its UDP-203. Thus, the manufacturer from Korea with a unique feature and a favorable price recommendation.
