LG Spirit 4G LTE Edition has been officially launched in India today. The smartphone was announced by Reliance, It is a just a new variant of the previous LG Spirit phone but with VoLTE connectivity that was launched back in February 2015. The LG Spirit 4G LTE is available in Gold and Black color variant. It can be purchased exclusively via Reliance Retail stores in India for Rs 11,900.
The LG Spirit LTE features a 4.7-inch In-Cell display offering HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels that can rated to translate a pixel density of 312ppi and also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor that supported by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset along with Adreno 306 GPU. It packs a 1GB of RAM and comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage which can also be expanded up to 32GB with the help of microSD card.
The handset flaunts an 8-megapixel autofocus primary camera on the back with LED flash and a 1-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. Front camera also features a Retina Flash technology that brightens the display to capture perfect self-portraits. The handset support VoLTE (Voice Over LTE) and VoWiFi (Voice Over Wi-Fi) technology that helps in faster connecting and switching of calls. It also comes with a Glance View feature for notification when the screen is turned off along with the Gesture Shot for capturing images in the camera app.
The device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box based on company’s own LG UX UI. The device is made of plastic material and has a physical home button and volume rockers located on the back panel. The smartphone packs in a 2100mAh battery that can last for one day with moderate usage.
On connectivity front, LG Spirit 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, MicroUSB 2.0, 3.5 mm audio jack and FM radio options. The handset is 9.9 mm thick and weigh 128 grams.
