LG introduced a new line Smart TV called LG Mosquito Away TV, this LG LED TV that feature mosquito-repelling technology. This new range of TVs is fully designed and made in India, so it it under “Make in India” initiative. Priced at Rs. 26,500 – approximately $400 for a 32-inch (32LH520D) model and Rs. 47,500 – approximately $707 for a 42 inch LG LED TV (43LH520T).
LG Mosquito Away TV comes equipped with an Ultra Sonic device that generates sound waves when activated and drives away all the mosquitoes from your house without reducing any harmful gases or chemicals.
This new technology doesn’t involve any use of chemicals, which means there’s nothing to refill, said by LG. They also add that the TV doesn’t even need to be powered on for its Mosquito Away system to work.
Apart from this Mosquito Away technology, this LG TV features Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution with IPS panel that delivers more natural color effects. The LG LED TV also features Dolby Digital tuned 20W powerful sound, Cricket mode and LG’s Bollywood Mode or Smart Sound Mode that will automatically select the right sound EQ for the Indian movie that you watch on TV.
It has metallic design and narrow bezel. A built-in games, regional language options in the menu and all round protection. There is Triple XD Engine also integrated for high level of color productivity. It has USB movie support, active noise reduction and also comes with HDMI ports, USB ports and a headphone jack.
The manufacturer started selling TVs only in India currently, plans to sell the “LG Mosquito Away TV” in other countries are not reported.
