LG K30 with 5.3-inch Display, Snapdragon 425 and Fingerprint Sensor Launched

LG has recently announced a new low-end smartphone: LG K30 which is now listed on T-Mobile website in the USA.

LG K30 comes with the moderate specifications which are quite similar to the LG X4+ was introduced back in January this month, including a 5.3-inch HD display, Snapdragon 425 SoC, and a rear fingerprint sensor. For the absurd LG has decided to market the smartphone with Android 7.1 Nougat, without offering the update to the latest Google operating system.

LG K30 features a 5.3-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS Display with a pixel density of 277ppi. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor. It comes with 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage, with the option to expand further with the help of a microSD card (up to 2TB).

For the camera, the K30 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and a 5-megapixel front camera for selfie and video calling. The device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.

For connectivity, the LG K30 has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.2, USB 2.0, and NFC. It packs 2880mAh battery, weighs 172.3 grams, and measures 148.6 x 75.1 x 8.6mm.

T-Mobile has listed the handset in Black color at a price of $225.
