LG Electronics has made a new video to show its high-end HU80KA projector. The product has a compact size and considerable versatility. The heart of this model is the DLP470TE DLP chip, equipped with 1920 x 1080 micro-mirrors and with a 0.47-inch diagonal size. To achieve the Ultra HD resolution the LG HU80KA uses a system known as XPR (Expanded Pixel Resolution) which allows four pixels to be displayed for each micro-mirror, thus exploiting the very high DLP technology to recreate a greater number of pixels and LG also declares compatible with HDR in HDR10 format.
LG HU80KA is able to project images with a maximum diagonal of 150 inches and guarantees 2,500 lumens brightness. The optic allows you to fill a 1000inch screen at a distance of 2.9 meters, while to get to 1500inch you need to place the projector at about 4.4 meters away. LG HU80KA is equipped with webOS and Wi-Fi, Ethernet and Bluetooth connectivity. We also find two HDMI 2.0, HDCP 2.2 inputs, a USB 3.0 port, a USB 2.0 port and an optical digital output.
The LG projector can be placed horizontally or vertically on the floor, mounted on the wall or hung from the ceiling. The Laser source is guaranteed for a use of at least 20,000 hours. It has 7W speakers to complete the equipment (audio can also transmit via any Bluetooth system). The price is set at $ 2,996.99.[amazon box=”B07BVMSMRN” /]
