LG G7 ThinQ With Low Capacity Battery; Spotted on Brazilian Certification Website

LG G7 ThinQ is all set to be unveiled at the event in New York on May 2. Most of the specifications and features are already out in the public domain, although several new leaks have revealed new details of the upcoming smartphone. Most notable among these are the leaked image that indicates the battery capacity of the device.

A report from the Brazilian website, Tudocelular has posted the image from Anatel certification that indicates the LM-G710EMW (G7 ThinQ) supposedly has a 2,890mAh battery capacity. If the document is correct, then the LG G7 ThinQ battery capacity may disappoint you. For example, Its display is larger than the Galaxy S9, which has a 3,000mAh battery.

Of course, Samsung offers AMOLED screen while LG chose to continue with the IPS LCD panel. The device was tested in Brazil on March 27, 2018, according to Anatel, but the certification was made publicly available this week in April.

Recently, the device was surfaced on Geekbench and revealed its key specifications. The benchmark listing also confirms top-notch scores of the smartphone, a 6.1-inch QHD+ (1440×3120 pixels) LCD panel with a brightness of 1,000 nits and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It is also expected to come with a notch design, a ‘Second Screen’, a Snapdragon 845 SoC, coupled with 4GB of RAM.
