LG will launch G7 ThinQ on May 2 in New York and now the hands-on images of the device have been leaked online. At a glance, you will think that it does not have a Notch that may indicate it will have a hideable notch. In fact, that’s display time, battery status, and WiFi that we really love how to set the battery icon up and still show the percentage.
LG G7 ThinQ hands-on images showcase the design of the upcoming LG flagship and it will be different from its predecessor, at least in terms of the looks and build. As we mentioned, it has a hideable notch that apparently includes a front-facing camera, earpiece, and a couple of sensors, including an ambient sensor and a proximity sensor.
The device also has a chin at the bottom – just below the on-screen buttons. Further, there are thin bezels on the left and right to support the display panel that is likely to have an aspect ratio of more than 16:9 – particularly a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The back panel of the device has a vertically placed dual camera setup and a fingerprint sensor. As per the leaked images, it has a glass back panel that easily catches fingerprints. Besides, there is a logo stating that the handset is none other than the G7 ThinQ.
Recall to the LG G7 ThinQ specifications, the device is expected to come with a 6.1-inch LCD panel with QHD+ (1440×3120 pixels) resolution that will deliver 1,000 nits of brightness. The device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM. As for the camera, the device should have a 16MP dual rear sensor – a normal and a wide-angle with f/1.6 aperture and artificial intelligence capabilities to enhance photos. To know more we refer to the LG G7 ThinQ and Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus camera comparison which was leaked earlier today.
