LG released the first promotional video dedicated to the new LG G6+, the short video clip of just 30 seconds, enhances the new colors to reflective effect proposed with this device, it comes with a large 5.7-inch display, qHD resolution and IP68 certification that protects smartphones from water and dust.
LG G6+ has been officially launched in Korea. LG G6+ comes with 128GB of native storage, Qi wireless charging support and bundled with B&O Play earphones. Additionally, the company also announced the LG G6 32GB storage variant in Korea which comes in Terra Gold and Marine Blue colors while the LG G6+ will be available in Optical Astro Black, Optical Terra Gold and Optical Marine Blue color options.
The LG G6+ 128GB and the LG G6 32GB versions will be available to buy in South Korea next month. Pricing will be revealed at that time, while coming to the specifications, these are same as the original LG G6. LG also said that all the G6 variants will get software updates simultaneously. A new update will add motion recognition for face recognition function that recognizes the user’s face, even if the screen is turned off, so the phone can be unlocked easily.
In addition, the company will add a new low-power algorithm powered by Qualcomm’s All-Ways Aware technology that lowers standby power when a user is not using the phone by knowing the user’s location and movement. New Lens Blind Reminder feature will inform you when a wide-angle camera is used, so it prevents fingers from blocking the camera when the taking a photo.
Other features including an automatic call recording, which automatically records calls from or to a specific person once you set it up, and fine volume control that lets you adjust the volume when using the Hi-Fi Quad.
