LG G5 SE With 3GB RAM and Snapdragon 652 SoC Listed on Company Russian Site

LG Russia has silently introduced its new edition of G5 smartphone, the LG G5 SE, by listing it on the company’s Russian website. The new LG G5 SE QuickCover case has also been leaked early this month, without any details of the device. So far, there is no announcement on pricing and availability as well as the listing was also removed from LG Russia.
The company was rumored to be working on  a Special Edition of its flagship G5 leaked few month ago when LG registered trademarks of “LG G5 SE” in Korea. The new G5 SE smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based LG’s UX UI. It supports dual Micro-SIM cards with dual standby support.

Unlike flagship LG G5 Phone that packed Snapdragon 820 SoC, and the powerful 4GB of RAM, the G5 SE features a slightly lower octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. According to the official listing, the handset will be available in 32GB inbuilt storage and support expandable storage via microSD card up to 2TB.

All other specifications of LG G5 SE are similar to its flagship including a 5.3-inch IPS display with 2K (2560×1440 pixels) resolution can offer a high pixel density of 554ppi along with  Always-On mode and 3D arc glass layer on top of it. The handset sports dual rear camera and LED flash placed between both camera modules. There is a 16-megapixel sensor with 78-degree lens and another an 8-megapixel sensor with a 135-degree wide-angle lens. G5 SE also supports all LG G5 Friends module features as its senior such as LG Cam Plus, Battery, LG Hi-Fi Plus to deliver a better experience for users.

The G5 SE comes with 3G, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi, GPS, A-GPS, NFC and USB Type C connectivity options. Notably, the handset doesn’t support 4G LTE connectivity. It is backed by a 2800mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 technology. It measures 149.4 x 73.9 x 7.7mm and weighs 159 grams.
