LG G Pad III 8.0 Tablet with LTE and 8.0-inch Display Launched at $185

LG G Pad III 8.0 Tablet has been officially launched in Canada, it is the latest 4G-enabled LG G Tablet from the company with Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. The G Pad III 8.0 has been priced at CAD 240 – approximately $185 USD and it is exclusively available for purchase via Rogers online e-commerce store in Midnight Blue color option.

The LG G Pad III 8.0 features an 8.0-inch TFT IPS display with Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels along with Zero Gap Touch technology for better viewing experience in any light conditions. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core processor (unspecified chipset/RAM) and comes with 16GB of internal storage which can also be expanded up to 2TB via microSD card.

On the camera front, the tablet flaunts a 5-megapixel autofocus primary camera on the back without LED flash and it can also record Full HD 1080p videos at 30fps. There is not any information on front-facing camera. The LG Tablet runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and comes with up to 20 days of battery life as per listing. It supports 4G LTE connectivity, other connectivity options includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, USB 2.0, OTG and a 3.5 mm audio jack option. It measures 210.7 x 124.1 x 7.9 mm and weighs around 309 grams.

Last year, LG launched the G Pad II 8.3 LTE tablet in Korea, single SIM device which runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. It comes with an 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera and 2-megapixel front-facing camera. LG G Pad II 8.3 features an 8.3-inch IPS display; powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor clubbed with Adreno 405 GPU; 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable with the help of microSD card up to 128GB.
