Along with the Phab 2 Pro, Lenovo also unveiled two new smartphones in his Phab series dubbed Lenovo Phab 2 and Phab 2 Plus at the Lenovo Tech World 2016 in San Francisco. In which the Phab 2 Plus is high-end device that comes with a dual 13MP rear camera, 8MP front and fingerprint sensor on the back, whereas the Phab 2 has a single 13-megapixel rear camera and 5MP front camera without fingerprint sensor, and that’s only differences in both devices, while both share same specs.

The Phab 2 Plus features dual 13-megapixel primary camera on the back with Futjitsu Milbeaut ISPs, Laser autofocus, PDAF and dual LED flash. This camera comes with a few extra features such as refocus, background swap, extreme manual settings and Augmented-Reality special effects. There is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture and 1.4μm pixel size for selfies and video calling. It also equipped with a Fingerprint sensor placed on the back for enhanced security and Dolby Atmos Audio Technology with 5.1 audio capture, Triple Array Microphones with Active Noise-Cancellation.
The device features a 6.4-inch 2.5D Curved Glass display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz octa-core processor that’s backed by MediaTek MT8783 chipset and paired with Mali-T720 GPU. It has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 128GB with the help of microSD card slot.
The handset runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS based on Vibe UI and packs in 4050mAh battery under the hood. It has Hybrid Dual SIM on board, including 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0, and 3.5 mm audio jack as connectivity options.
