Lenovo expanded its enterprise notebook catalog with the new ThinkPad A lineup, the first in this category to use the recent AMD Pro platform. Obviously, Lenovo ThinkPad A series notebook will be powered by AMD Pro processors, especially we talk about AMD Bristol Ridge Pro or Carrizo Pro, with a likely use of Ryzen solutions in future products.
The company currently offers two models in its ThinkPad A series: ThinkPad A475 and ThinkPad A275, both designed to counter the needs of enterprise users, but also for government and educational environments.
As of now, not all the specifications and other details are available, prices are in the first place, while in terms of specifications, in addition to the latest AMD Pro APUs, there are some basic differences in display and memory.
Lenovo ThinkPad A475 will feature a 14-inch display with up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM; while the Lenovo ThinkPad A275 will have a 12.5-inch display with 16GB of DDR4 RAM. Both notebooks will come in the market with a good expansion section including USB Type-C and Type-A support.
