Lenovo IdeaPad 100S, 300S, 500S, 300 and 500 Series Unveiled at IFA 2015

Lenovo refreshed its IdeaPad line laptops with the latest Windows 10 platforms from Microsoft and the price range of all these Lenovo IdeaPad laptops also very attractive as before.

At IFA 2015, Lenovo has unveiled new IdeaPad laptops in different price segment starting from $289, it looks like Lenovo to prepare for the holiday shopping season. The new edition includes IdeaPad 100S, 300S, 500S, 300 and IdeaPad 500.

Lenovo IdeaPad 100S:

This is the low-end model in this IdeaPad series comes with two screen options such as 11.6 inches and 14 inches for ordinary users. The Lenovo IdeaPad 100S laptop is powered by an Intel Atom Z3735F processor, 2GB DDR3L RAM, 32GB inbuilt storage with 11.6 inch screen version , while the 14 inch version will support up to 4GB of RAM, 256GB hard drive. Both versions have the same screen resolution of 1366×768 pixels, 0.3MP webcam, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, 2x USB 2.0, HDMI ports and a MicroSD card reader.

Lenovo says that both the IdeaPad 100S laptops come with usage time up to 8 hours, and pre-installed Windows 10 Home operating system. The selling price of the 11.6 inch version is $189, while the 14 inch version will cost $259.

Lenovo IdeaPad 300S & 500S:

The duo Lenovo laptop will be aimed at the mid-range market segment with outstanding design and combines three color such as Black, Silver and Red options.

The Lenovo IdeaPad 300S owns a 14 inch screen with a choice of the Full-HD resolution, powered by 6th generation Intel Core i7 processor, up to 8GB of RAM, 1TB HDD, 256GB SSD and Geforce 940M graphics card from Nvidia. For connectivity includes standard Wi-Fi, 2x USB 3.0, HDMI ports and SD card reader. A battery life of the IdeaPad 300S is around five hours and the laptop is also comes with a pre-installed Windows 10 Home OS. The Lenovo IdeaPad 300S price starts from $479.

The Lenovo IdeaPad 500S has the same configuration as 300S but there are more choices in screen sizes such as 13.3 inches and 15 inches. Buyers also have the option of 1TB HDD, 500GB or 128GB SSD for 13 inch version, 1TB HDD and 256GB SSD for 14 inch version. It has 2x USB 3.0 ports, 2x USB 2.0, HDMI and SD card reader. Unfortunately, the laptop’s price has not been disclosed yet.

Lenovo IdeaPad 300:

The IdeaPad 300 laptop support multimedia processors with very large 17.3 inch display and comes with an extremely affordable price. It also has two additional screen options includes 14 inch and 15.6 inch with Full-HD resolution, 16GB of RAM, Radeon R5 or Nvidia GeForce 920M integrated graphics card.

Weight for the 14-inch version is around 2.1kg, for 15.6 inch and 17.3 inch around 2.29kg and 2.99kg respectively. While prices start from $449 and pre-installed Windows 10 Home OS.

Lenovo IdeaPad 500:

The Lenovo IdeaPad 500 comes with a two screen options includes a 14 and 15 inches with a Full-HD resolution. And two optional configurations such as AMD A10-7300 and Intel Core i7 processors, 8GB of RAM, 1TB HDD storage or hybrid drive, backlight keyboard and Radeon R7 M360 graphics card.

The Lenovo IdeaPad 500 prices start from $399 for the 14-inch version, while $599 for the 15 inch version will be used AMD processor; And $499 and $899 if used Intel processors.
