Lenovo 100e, 300e and 500e Chromebooks Announced at MWC 2018

Lenovo unveiled its new 100e, 300e and 500e Chromebooks during the Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona. All three Lenovo Chromebooks were created to withstand everyday impacts.

They feature rubber bumpers that are capable of handling everyday bumps and drops up to 75cm, reinforced ports and hinges and a water-resistant keyboard.

Lenovo 100e Chromebook

The Lenovo 100e has the most conventional look. It comes with an 11.6-inch HD antiglare display and 1366 x 768 resolution. It is powered by Intel Celeron N3350 (2M Cache, up to 2.4 GHz) processors, clubbed with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. In addition, it has USB-C port and microSD card reader.

It has a 42 Whr battery capacity, which is claimed to provide juice up to 10 hours. It is MIL-SPEC Mil-STD-810GW standard rating, measures 290 x 204 x 19.9 mm and weighs 1.25kg.

Lenovo 100e Chromebook should be available from March 2018 with a price tag of $219.

Lenovo 300e Chromebook

The Lenovo 300e features an 11.6-inch HD touchscreen IPS display and USB-C, USB 3.0 and HDMI output ports. In the configurations, it is powered by MediaTek MTK 8173C chipset and integrated graphics of MediaTek, 4GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage.

It also packs a 42 Whr battery with up to 10 hours of usage time. It has MIL-SPEC Mil-STD-810G standard rating, measures 292 x 204 x 21.2mm and weighs 1.35kg.

Lenovo 300e Chromebook price is $179 and it can be purchased via Lenovo’s official website. The laptop can also be used as a tablet and comes with a pen for a better touch experience.

Just like the previous model, the Lenovo 500e has an 11.6-inch HD touchscreen IPS display and is aimed at immediate command responses through machine learning. Google deployed the feature on its platform in order to eliminate lags. It comes with an Intel Celeron N3450 processor, 4GB/8GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of ROM.

It comes with a 42 Whr battery that is rated to deliver up to 10 hours of usage time. It also has MIL-SPEC Mil-STD-810G standard rating, measures 290 x 204 x 20.35 mm and weighs 1.35kg.

All three new Lenovo Chromebooks are come equipped with Chrome OS are expected to be available in March this year at the brand’s partner stores in several countries, including the USA as well as other regions including Germany, Italy, UK, Spain and Australia.
