Leica TL Price, Specifications, and Availibility

Leica officially announced its new mirrorless camera, the Leica TL has also compatibility with lenses from other camera systems. It is an upgraded variant of the Leica T debuted in 2014. Coming to Leica TL price is $1,695 for body only, while TL lenses pricing starts from $1650 USD. 

New Leica camera still uses a 16-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor from the previous generation, but the focus system has been upgraded, faster AF, particularly in AF-C mode. Internal memory is now upgraded from 16GB to 32GB and also supports external SD memory card as well.

On the hardware front, the Leica TL in terms of design unchanged, comes with 16.2MP APS-C resolution to capture sharper images and more detailing, an ISO range of 100 to 12,500, shutter speed of 1/4000 sec, continuous shooting at 5.0fps. The back of the camera has a 3.7-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1.3 million pixels provides more convenience during use. Now TL is also capable of recording Full HD (1080p), and HD (720p) video at 30fps.

Leica TL is now compatible with up to six lenses, including three primes and three zoom lenses, cover an entire range of focal lengths equivalent to 17 to 200 mm in 35 mm format; and TL users can now also make use of legacy Leica R-lenses via the R-Adapter L.

In addition to Black and Silver color body, Leica also introduced Titanium variant as well. Leica TL price $1,695 for body only, can be pre-ordered through B&Hphoto store. It will be available from the end of this month.
