Leakster: Moto G5, Lenovo Tab 3 8 Plus, and WhatsApp Live location Sharing

In the near future we expect the announcement of two Moto smartphones called Moto G5 and G5 Plus. One of the retailers accidentally became a source of information about the key specifications of the Moto G5 (XT1672): 5.0-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution, 2GB of RAM, Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor, Adreno 505 GPU, 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front camera, 32GB of native storage, battery capacity of 2800mAh and Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.

Moto G5 will cost about $199, and the smartphone can be present on February 26 along with the Moto G5 Plus. A day earlier, it was spotted in the FCC.

Lenovo Tab 3 8 Plus

The Lenovo TB-8703F, also known as Tab 3 8 Plus, was spotted in Geekbench data base. Unfortunately, the test sample is still running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, and there are no signs of the approaching release of Android Nougat. Lenovo Tab 3 8 Plus

The tablet has received 935 points in single-core and 4667 points – in multi-core mode. Earlier in AnTuTu tablet scored about 60 thousand points, which shows a sufficiently high performance in this price range ($250).

WhatsApp Live-location Sharing

WABetaInfo published a few screenshots that demonstrate the new feature of the popular chat messenger WhatsApp. It is alleged that in the beta builds of iOS (v 2.17.3.28) and Android (v 2.16.399); and is disabled by default. Screenshots shared by WABetaInfo show a ‘Sharing’ option along with a ‘Show My Friends’ option. You can currently share your location on personal WhatsApp chats and on ‘Groups’, but that only gives your location at the time you send that message – with no real time position-tracking. The beta app will also be bringing a new ‘Contact Us’ menu, and new UI for the ‘Storage Usage’ section.
