Xiaomi new budget smartphone specifications and images have been seen in the Chinese TENAA certification system. And few Chinese tech enthusiastic believed that the model under MAE136 number will hit the market as the Xiaomi Redmi 5.
Xiaomi Redmi 5 Specifications
Design of the Redmi 5 is similar to the Xiaomi Redmi 4 model line. It also received a metal body with plastic strips above and below, the camera in the upper left corner and a fingerprint scanner on the top center of the back cover.

It is known that the smartphone battery capacity will be 4000mAh, 5.5-inch Full HD display and the device will have dual slots for SIM-cards. Dimensions of the Xiaomi Redmi 5 is 139.24 x 69.94 x 8.65 mm, slightly less than the Redmi 4.
Xiaomi recently unveiled the Redmi Note 4X smartphone in China. Additionally, the Hatsune Miku Special Edition is available in two new colors including Hatsune Green and Cherry Pink; and comes in a special box that’s bundled a Mi Power bank and Hatsune Miku designed soft protective and the device has a unique code along with Hatsune Miku’s signature at the back panel.
The Redmi Note 4X features a 5.5-inch Full HD display; a 2.0GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor with Adreno 506 GPU and 4GB of RAM. 64GB internal storage and it can be expandable via microSD card up to 128GB. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF; f/2.0 aperture, dual-tone LED flash; and a 5-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture. It also houses a fingerprint scanner on the rear panel along with Infrared sensor as well. The Redmi Note 4X still runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based on MIUI 8, packs in a 4000mAh battery, measuring 151 x 76 x 8.45 mm, and weighs 175 grams.
