Leagoo, a company best known for its affordable and budget smartphones, has just announced the Leagoo M5 Shock-proof smartphone with the world’s first Nano All-metal closed frame design. The new device will be sold worldwide through online stores in the coming days. No single word on the price yet.
According to the manufacturer, the Leagoo M5 housing made of Nano All-metal closed frame has never been used on any smartphone before. The screen of the device will also protected by Military grade Bullet proof Glass along with 2.5D Glass to make it more durable. It promises shock-proof and bullet-proof display, which is likely to be tested for the ability to forge hammer, nuts, and crushed by a car.
Speaking on Leagoo M5 Specifications, the device features a 5.0-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580A 64-bit processor and 2GB of RAM. It packs a 16GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card.
Optics features of the M5, it flaunts an 8-megapixel primary autofocus camera with LED flash, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie and video calling. The Leagoo M5 comes equipped with Multi-functional fingerprint sensor to unlock the device in 0.19 sec. and provide high level security that also supports 360degree Fingerprint identification.
The handset runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based on Leagoo Freemee OS 6.0 and packs a 2300mAh battery out of the box. It supports dual SIM slot with dual standby, For connectivity includes 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0 and 3.5 mm audio jack options.
Last month, Leagoo Mobile has launched the Leagoo Z5 LTE entry level smartphone, priced at $69.99. It features a 5.0-inch LCD display and is powered by a 1.0 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor paired with Mali-400 MP GPU; 1GB of RAM; 8GB of internal storage and also supports a microSD card up to 32GB.
