Leagoo M5, A Sturdy phone that can bear the Weight of the Car

After UMi, It is now Leagoo mobile’s turn to literally Nail worldwide smartphone market. Leagoo M5, which the Chinese manufacturer claims to be one the most durable phone currently in the market, is available for just $69.99 USD that is completely different from its previous Leagoo Lead Phones series. 

Leagoo M5 is quite slim at 8.7 mm and is covered with All-metal closed loop frame and 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 4 screen on the front and in Leagoo’s own words, “We do proud to say this is the innovation for smartphone which iPhone, Samsung still can’t achieve.”

In the video uploaded via GearBest, they tested the M5 with the different experiments such as Hammer test, we can’t see a single scratch on the screen and also working very well. Next is the Walnut cracking test, you can see the device cracking walnuts easily, so now you do not need a hammer to crack walnuts. At last the Leagoo M5 is placed on the road and a very heavy Sedan car drives over it twice. In results, it survived all sturdy and deadly tests that we can see in video below:

Coming to the Leagoo M5 specifications, it features a 5.0-inch IPS LCD display with HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution and the screen is also protected by Military grade Bullet proof Glass along with 2.5D Glass to make it more durable. It is powered by MediaTek’s MT6580 64-bit processor based quad-core clocked at 1.3 GHz. It has Mali-T720 GPU and also includes 2GB RAM and 16GB native storage which can be expandable via microSD card up to 128GB.

Other features of this Leagoo Phone include an 5-megapixel primary autofocus camera with LED flash, and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie and video calling. It also comes equipped with Multi-functional fingerprint sensor to unlock the device in 0.19 sec, and provide high level security that also supports 360-degree Fingerprint identification. 

This new Leagoo Smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based on Leagoo Freemee OS 6.0 and packs a 2300mAh battery with Power Saving mode. It supports dual SIM slot with dual standby, For connectivity includes 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0 and 3.5 mm audio jack options.

The Leagoo M5 price is only $69.99 and its selling via GearBest store with free worldwide shipping, it is a decent smartphone in the budget market segment.
