Lava X17, X50 Budget Selfie focused Smartphones Launched

Lava India has unveiled its new Lava X17 smartphone at Rs. 6,899. Additionally, the Lava X50 has also been launched by the company with an official listing on its website with a price tag of Rs. 8,699. Not availability details of the both Lava smartphones, but both will soon go on sale via online and offline stores. 

The Lava X17 features a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with dual LED flash, which is one of the main attraction of the device. There is an 8-megapixel primary autofocus camera with LED flash and can also able to time lapse and slow motion videos.

The new Lava smartphone comes with a 5-inch IPS LCD display with HD (720×1280 pixel) resolution and it is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, paired with 1GB of RAM. It packs 8GB of native storage that is expandable up to 32GB with the help of microSD card.

The X17 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is backed by a 2350mAh battery and also supports an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor.

For connectivity, this new Lava mobile phone includes 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, A-GPS, Micro-USB 2.0, a 3.5mm audio jack and FM radio.

Coming to the Lava X50, we see the smartphone sports a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash and an 8-megapixels rear autofocus camera teamed with an LED flash. 

The device features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with HD (720×1280 pixels) resolution and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor teamed with 2GB of RAM. It packs 8GB of internal storage and supports expandable storage up to 32GB via microSD card.

The X50 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, which also upgradable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow in the near future. It packs in 2800mAh battery. Connectivity options include Single SIM 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, A-GPS, Micro-USB 2.0, a 3.5mm audio jack and FM radio.
