Klipsch launched the Reference Theater Pack, a 5.1 speaker set for home cinema. The Theater Pack includes four identical speakers (two front and two surrounds), one center channel and one klipsch subwoofer with a wireless connection receiver.
The four Klipsch speakers measure 19.7 x 11.1 x 13.7 cm. The sounds are played through a 1.9 cm Tractrix Horn tweeter and an 8.9 cm woofer. The frequency response is between 110 Hz and 23 kHz with a sensitivity of 91dB and an impedance of 8Ohms.
The central channel differs by the presence of a double 8.9cm woofer, alongside the same tweeter. The dimensions also change: 11.1 x 27.3 x 13.7 cm; sensitivity is 94dB. The klipsch subwoofer is 33.7 cm high with a width and depth of 29.9 cm. It is equipped with a 50W amplifier and a 20.32 cm woofer located on the lower side, where we also find the bass-reflex conduit. The frequency response is between 38 and 120 Hz, wireless connectivity uses the 2.4 GHz band, but it is also possible to connect via a traditional cable.
The Klipsch Reference Theater Pack is offered for $ 999.
