Kingston Introduces Canvas Plus Series of microSDXC Cards and MobileLite Plus

Kingston Digital introduced the updated Canvas series of memory cards named Canvas Plus, they are the first Kingston removable media to support UHS-II. At the same time, devices for working with MobileLite Plus memory cards that support the increased transfer speeds provided by Canvas Plus microSDXC cards are introduced.

The Canvas Plus series includes microSDXC and SDXC memory cards integrated into Kingston Canvas Go Plus, Canvas React Plus, and Canvas Select Plus. All of them are suitable for photo and video cameras, smartphones and tablets with Android OS, quadcopters and action cameras, including those capable of shooting 4K and 8K video.

Canvas Select Plus range with up to 512GB microSDXC and SDXC card cards are labeled Class 10 UHS-I and show read speeds of up to 100 MB/s. Canvas Go Plus is labeled Class 10 UHS-I U3 and A2. They demonstrate read speeds of up to 170 MB/s and write speeds of up to 90 MB/s. These cards are also available in volumes up to 512GB.

Finally, Canvas React Plus cards comply with the Class 10 UHS-II U3 ​​specification. For them, a read speed of up to 300 MB/s and a write speed of up to 260 MB/s are declared (in the case of SD cards); read speeds of up to 285 MB/s and write speeds of 165 MB/s (microSD). The maximum capacity of these cards is 256GB.

The Kingston MobileLite Plus device is designed to work with microSD and SD cards. It supports UHS-II and USB 3.2 Gen 1. It will be possible to buy MobileLite Plus either separately or complete with React Plus memory cards.
