Chinese company Kandao has released the new 360-degree camera to record 8K video called QooCam 8K. The manufacturer also mentioned that this is the “world’s first pocket 8K 360 camera” with a touchscreen display.
The QooCam 8K is small enough to fit in your pocket and also powerful enough to live stream and share your 8K video anywhere anytime. The camera uses a pair of fisheye lenses and a 1/1.7-inch sensor. It is capable of recording 16-bit DNG, 10-bit color for photos and 4K videos at 120 frames per second.
New Kandao 8K camera features the company’s patented SuperSteady advanced stabilization technology which helps you capture smooth and stable footage in any situation. It uses a 6-axis gyro, IMU sensor which, according to the manufacturer, makes the QooCam 8K suitable for use as an action camera.
The 360-degree camera has a 2.4-inch OLED touch screen that allows you to check recording information, view and playback frames and adjust settings without connecting a smartphone. Frames can be edited in a special QooCam Studio application, which includes templates for those who are new to the world of 360-degree editing.
