Compared to the high-end JBL Bar 5.1 (2018) model, the new JBL Bar 5.1 Surround version is cheaper at only £550, thanks to the simpler, seamless soundbar design and the inability to remove two speakers.
This JBL soundbar is equipped with 5 full range drivers and two tweeters on both sides of the speaker along with JBL MultiBeam technology to create a ‘panoramic surround sound’ sound space.
This product will come with a 25cm wireless subwoofer. Soundbar’s power is 250W and subwoofer up to 300W, for a total of 550W can meet the large music room.
The Bar 5.1 Surround model is also equipped with advanced wireless connectivity thanks to the built-in Chromecast and Apple AirPlay 2. HDMI input is compatible with 4K HDR standard and has Dolby Vision support. The front of the soundbar has a display to feature information and playback mode.
The JBL Bar 2.1 Deep Bass model, priced at £300, has up to 300W capacity and has a 16cm diameter subwoofer. The product still has an HDMI input port but does not have the ability to support 4K HDR and the wireless transmission is limited to Bluetooth. Like Bar 5.1, the Bar 2.1 Deep Bass model also has a small display on the front.

Bar 2.0 All-in-One is an upgraded version of the previous Bar Studio model, which is suitable for compact spaces thanks to a length of only 61cm. It has 80W power only and will not come with the wireless subwoofer. It has been priced at $199.95 and already listed on Amazon.com with 17% discount.
