The IRIX 45mm F1.4 has internal focusing in a weather-sealed design, offers increased control over depth of field for working with a viewing angle of 50°. All exposure settings are stored in EXIF data. The focus ring has a rotation angle of 140 degrees, there is no new autofocus motor.

The front thread allows you to install filters with a diameter of 77 mm. The lens engravings are filled with UV-reactive paint to make them readable in low-light conditions. The lens body is made of aluminum-magnesium alloy and composite elements to create a lightweight but durable construction.

The focus lock mechanism allows you to lock the focus ring in a specific position. This is especially important when shooting landscapes, as well as when you want to keep a certain distance from the subject (for example, in a studio or outdoors).
