Intex FitRist fitness band has been officially launched in India, it’s a new fitness tracking smart band in the wearable market unveiled by the Indian domestic vendor. The wearable is available from the Snapdeal e-commerce online store, Intex FitRist price is just only Rs. 999. It is available in White and Black color variants; and weighs only 21 grams.
The Wearable devices segment increase gradually and developed more actively. According to the company, it is the most affordable fitness band for fitness enthusiasts. It features a sleek design, the Intex FitRist like others tracks the wearer’s activities, sleep monitoring, step monitoring, calorie count and distance measurement.
In addition, the Intex band also displays smartphone notifications such as mails, messages and calls via Bluetooth 4.0 connection. It features a 0.86-inch OLED display with a resolution of 96×32 pixels. It is compatible with both Android 4.3 JellyBean and iOS 7 and above.
It is assumed that Intex FitRist receive similar specs as Xiaomi Mi Band. Another key feature of the FitRist is splash proof and water-resistant to protect it against rain. The company claimed that the Intex band receives capacious battery, which will provide long battery life can last up to 12 days after single charge.
Mr. Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, Mobile Business Head, Intex Technologies said, “We have expanded our wearable segment with Intex FitRist Fitness Band for the fitness freak and tech savvy youth.” Also adds “We are happy to partner with the one of leading online marketplace – Snapdeal for bringing the fitness device exclusively to consumers and are confident that the platform will ensure quality reach.”
Talking about Fitness band, ENRG last year launched a new Fitness band named ENRG Actiwear in India.
The ENRG Actiwear Fitness band features a 0.9-inch OLED touch screen display with gesture control. It is connected via Bluetooth 4.0 that is compatible with smartphones running Android 4.2 or above and iPhone 4s/5/5s/6/6 plus and 6s.
It is the first smart band from the ENRG and has been priced at Rs. 3,128 and available for purchase exclusively on Amazon India.
