Huawei is preparing to launch some new smartphones, first of all, the P20 series expected on March 27th. Over the past few weeks, two other mysterious devices with the codenames FLA-AL00 and FLA-AL10 have appeared on the TENAA website, which we can now connect in both cases to the Huawei Y9 2018.
Although the code reported by the FCC and confirmed by the NBTC (Thai Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission) is FLA-LX2, so different from those published by TENAA, the images are exactly identical, which leads to affirming what has just been written.
Huawei Y9 2018 should be equipped with a 5.93-inch display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, have thin edges and four cameras, two at the front and at the rear. The back cover design is in line with the one used for most Huawei and Honor devices with unibody and antennas positioned in the upper and lower ends. There would also be a fingerprint sensor, a 3.5 mm audio jack and a micro USB port.
Combining the Huawei Y9 2018 specifications reported by TENAA along with FCC, we also discover that the Y9 2018 will be powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 659 SoC paired with 3GB / 4GB of RAM, 32GB / 64 GB of internal storage and 3,900mAh battery capacity.
At the moment we can not confirm that what is reported all are true, but probably we will not have to wait much longer for the official launch of the Huawei Y9 2018. In fact, the NBTC said that the presentation will take place on March 15 in Thailand.
