After launching the flagship smartphones such as P20, P20 Pro and Porsche Design Mate RS, Huawei has now announced the new Prime series smartphone: Huawei Y7 Prime 2018. It is a refreshed version of the Huawei Y7 Prime that was launched last year. The company has not revealed the pricing and availability details of the device. The device will comes in Black, Blue, and Gold color options.
Huawei Y7 Prime 2018 Specifications
The Huawei Y7 Prime 2018 features a 5.99-inch 2.5D curved glass display with HD+ (720 x 1440 pixels) resolution, and 18:9 aspect ratio. It has a metal glass unibody design and it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 128GB.
On the camera front, the Y7 Prime 2018 flaunts a dual rear camera setup with 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors. On the front, the handset has an 8-megapixel selfie camera that can be also used as facial recognition feature. The device also features fingerprint sensor on the back panel.
The device runs on Android 8.0 Oreo -based on EMUI 8.0 out of the box. It packs a 3000mAh battery and supports hybrid SIM slot with dual standby. For connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC and USB 2.0. The device measures 158.3 x 76.7 x 7.8mm and weighs 155 grams.
