Huawei Y6 has been quietly launched in Philippines. It is the latest affordable smartphone device from the company in the Y series, it is said to be an entry-level Huawei Y6 model was launched back in December 2015 in Korea. The handset is available in White and Black color variant. Huawei Y6 price in Philippines is set to PH$ 5,790 – approximately $121. It will be available for purchase via Villman.com online store.
The Huawei Y6 sports a 5.0-inch IPS display with HD 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, along with a high pixel density of 294ppi. It is powered by a 1.1 GHz quad-core processor that’s fueled by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 (MSM8909) chipset with Adreno 304 GPU. The device packs in 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 32GB with the help of microSD card slot.
On the camera front, the Y6 has an 8-megapixel autofocus primary camera on the back with f/2. aperture and LED flash. It can record HD 720p videos. It has a 2-megapixel front-facing camera to capture selfies and video chatting. The handset also equipped with a BOX sound technology along with two built-in speakers for better surround sound.
The handset runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with HUAWEI EMUI 3.1 interface on top. It packs a 2200mAh battery under the hood. Huawei Y6 Dual SIM card slots on board along with 4G LTE connectivity, apart from 4G includes 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG, 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio connectivity options.
