Huawei Y3 2018 and Y5 Prime 2018 models are leaked in early press renders thanks to Evan Blass. There are no further descriptions or technical specs, but it is clear that we have an entry-level smartphone series as has always been the Huawei Y series.
According to renders, it seems that neither is equipped with a fingerprint sensor – they are not visible on the back or front, and it is difficult to imagine a scanner into the power button or, even worse under-screen fingerprint sensor. This is a trend that we have already seen with Huawei Y6 2018, which is also the most advanced of the three.
Huawei Y3 2018 has a 16:9 display, while the Huawei Y5 Prime 2018 comes with the larger 18:9 aspect ratio. Both Huawei smartphones have only one rear camera sensor; Y5 Prime 2018 seems to optimize the screen/body ratio a little better, but it is clear that we are dealing with a product designed for the budget segment. At the moment there are no further details to tell; we have to wait a little bit more for other information in the near future.
