After launching Huawei Y5 2017 smartphone last month, Huawei has now launched another budget offering in this same ‘Y’ series – Huawei Y3 2017. The smartphone has 4G LTE support and will be made available in Blue, Gold, Pink, White, and Grey color options, but the pricing and the availability of the device has not been disclosed by the company as of now.
The Huawei Y3 2017 features a 5.0-inch TFT LCD display with FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) resolution and the device will be available in two different processors including a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580 SoC and another model comes with a 1.1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 chipset. Both the model comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable via microSD card up to 32GB.
In terms of optics, the smartphone comes with an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera coupled with LED flash and f/2.0 aperture. At front, the Huawei Y3 2017 bears a 2-megapixel camera for selfie and video calling. There are also few camera features of the device such as Beauty mode, time-lapse and Panorama. You can also capture a photo by just pressing the lower volume button twice when your phone screen is off.
The handset runs EMUI 4.1 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The smartphone is fitted with a 2200mAh battery. Connectivity options offered by the phone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. The sensors on the smartphone include acceleration sensor, ambient light sensor, digital compass, and proximity sensor.
