Huawei P8 Lite 2017 with 4GB RAM and Kirin 655 Announced

Huawei P8 Lite 2017 variant has been officially launched in Germany, it is successor of last year’s P8 Lite (quick review). The handset is available in Black color with the dual SIM card slot, while the White and Gold color variants with single SIM slot only. Huawei P8 Lite 2017 price in Germany is set to 239 Euro – approximately $254 USD for 3GB RAM + 16GB ROM, and it will go on sale from the end of this month. 

Huawei P8 Lite 2017 Specifications

The Huawei P8 Lite 2017 features a 5.2-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution with 2.5D curved glass display. The device has a metal frame and back panel is also covered with glass. It is powered by a 1.7 GHz octa-core processor which supported by Kirin 655 16nm chipset paired with Mali T830-MP2 GPU and 4GB / 3GB of RAM. It packs a 32GB / 16GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 128GB.

On the camera front, the P8 Lite 2017 flaunts a 12-megapixel primary autofocus camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. It has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and wide-angle lens to capture a wide group selfies and quality video calling. The handset also comes equipped with 2nd generation fingerprint sensor to unlock the device along with 360 degree Fingerprint identification support. 

The handset runs on latest Android 7.0 Nougat -based on Huawei EMUI out of the box. It packs a same 3000mAh battery, but now the battery life should be slightly improved thanks to new power efficient processor. It is available in both Single and Dual SIM variant. For connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, microUSB 2.0 and 3.5 mm audio jack options.

Early this month, Huawei has made Honor 6X official in the USA, priced at $249.99 for the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage variant which comes in gold, silver and gray color options. The Huawei Honor 6X pre order already started on Amazon online store.
