Huawei P Smart Z With 6.59-inch FHD+ Display, Dual Rear and 16MP pop-up front Camera Launched

After the launch of the P30 series, including Huawei P30, P30 Pro and P30 Lite, now the company has silently announced the Huawei P Smart Z smartphone in Europe. It is mid-budget device comes with a 6.59-inch Ultra FullView display, 4GB RAM, Dual Rear Cameras and fingerprint sensor.

Huawei P Smart Z Price and Availability

The Huawei P Smart Z price in Europe has been set at EUR 279 – approximately $312 for the sole 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version. The device on sale in Italy and will be available in Spain and other countries soon. The handset comes in Midnight Black, Emerald Green and Sapphire Blue color options.

Huawei P Smart Z Specifications

The Huawei P Smart Z features a 6.59-inch 2.5D curved glass Ultra FullView display with FHD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) resolution, and 19:5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a 2.2 GHz octa-core processor which supported by Kirin 710F 12nm SoC with ARM Mali-G51 MP4 GPU and GPU Turbo 2.0. It packs a 4GB of RAM with 64GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 512GB.

On the camera front, the P Smart Z bears a 16-megapixel rear camera along with a secondary 2-megapixel camera for AI portraits and AI scene detection. For selfie, there is a 16-megapixel pop-up front camera with f/2.2 aperture. The company says that the pop-up mechanism has been tested with a pressure of 12 Kg and the pop-up mechanism has been tested over 100,000 times for durability.

The Huawei P Smart Z has a fingerprint sensor on the back side and handset runs on Android 9.0 Pie -based on EMUI 9.0 out of the box. It packs a 4000mAh battery and supports hybrid SIM slot. For connectivity includes Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS + GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C. The device measures 163.5×77.3×8.8mm and weigh 196.8 grams.
