Along with the Huawei Enjoy 10, the company has also announced the Huawei Nova 5z smartphone in China. It is a mid-range device in the company’s Nova series that comes with a 6.26-inch no-notch display, 6GB RAM, Quad Rear Cameras and fingerprint sensor.
Price and Availability
The Huawei Nova 5z price in China starts from CNY 1,599 – approximately $226 for the 64GB storage, and CNY 1,799 – approximately $256 for t128GB storage version. The device comes in Aurora Blue, Emerald Green, and Midnight Black colors. It is available for order in China and goes on sale from November 1, 2019.

The Huawei Nova 5z features a 6.26-inch no-notch IPS display with FHD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) resolution and DCI-P3 wide color gamut. It is powered by a 2.27 GHz octa-core processor which supported by Kirin 810 7nm chipset with ARM Mali-G52 MP6 GPU and 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB / 128GB storage, expandable memory up to 256GB with microSD.
On the camera front, the Nova 5z bears a 48-megapixel rear Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, 2-megapixel camera with f/1.75 aperture for 2cm macro and another 2-megapixel camera with f/2.4 aperture for depth sensing in portrait shots. For selfie, it has a 32-megapixel in-screen camera with a f/2.0 aperture.
The Huawei Nova 5 z has a gradient back and a fingerprint sensor on the back. The handset runs on Android 9.0 Pie -based on EMUI 9.1 out of the box. It packs a 4000mAh battery with support for 20W fast charging that can charge the phone up to 50% in 30 minutes. For connectivity includes Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, USB Type-C. The device measures 156.1×73.9×8.3mm and weigh 178 grams.
