Huawei Nova 2s With Dual Front and Rear Cameras, 6-inch FullView Display Announced

After so many leaks, Huawei Nova 2s has been officially launched in China. It also follows the latest 18:9 FullView display trend as well as comes with dual rear and front camera sensors, Kirin 960 SoC and IntelliSense i6 sensor hub which are the few highlights of the device.

Huawei Nova 2s price in China has been set at CNY 2,699 – approximately $408 for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage model, CNY 2,999 – approximately $454 for the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage model and the special Yixing Zhang customized 6GB RAM with 128GB storage model costs CNY 3,399 – approximately $514. The handset is available in Black, Gray, Red, Rose Gold and Blue color variants.

Huawei Nova 2s Specifications

The Huawei Nova 2s features a 6.0-inch LTPS 18:9 FullView display with 2.5D curved glass and Full HD+ (2160×1080 pixels) resolution. It is powered by a 2.4 GHz octa-core processor which supported by Huawei Kirin 960 chipset + i6 co-processor clubbed with Mali G71 Octa-core GPU. It packs a 6GB of RAM with 64GB / 128GB storage, and 4GB of RAM with 128GB storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 256GB.

For optics, Nova 2s bears Dual rear and front camera sensors: a 16-megapixel rear RGB camera sensor along with a 20-megapixel monochrome sensor with f/1.8 aperture for capturing depth information and also has portrait mode. There is also support for PDAF, 4K video recording and LED flash.

For selfie, there is a 20-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture along with a secondary 2-megapixel camera for depth of field bokeh effect along with a selfie flash and also has support for face recognition. It has a shiny glass back and fingerprint sensor on the front. The device measures 156.9 x 75.1 x 7.5mm and weighs 169 grams.

The handset runs on Android 8.0 Nougat -based on Huawei EMUI 8.0 out of the box. It packs a 3340mAh battery and also comes with Hi-Fi audio chip for a great sound experience.
