Along with the new Nova 5 smartphone family, Huawei has also renewed its tablet range by offering the MediaPad M6, comes in 10.8-inch and 8.4-inch versions. These are two twin high-end proposals, which differ only in their display sizes, battery capacity and main orientation.
As anticipated by the previous rumors, Huawei MediaPad M6 comes with WQXGA (2560 x 1600 pixels) resolution, 2.5D curved glass display, and both are powered by an Octa-Core Kirin 980 SoC as well as run on Android 9.0 (Pie) with EMUI 9.1 on top. Both support a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with PDAF and an 8-megapixel front camera.
The MediaPad M6 10.8-inch comes with four-channel Quad Speakers and the 8.4-inch version has two-channel Dual speakers. Both feature a metal frame, but only the 10.8-inch model has a fingerprint sensor on the home button, below the display. Both have Huawei Histen sound support, are Harman Kardon audio certified and Support Hi-Res Audio. These have 6100 and 7500mAh battery, respectively, with support for QuickCharge technology. The larger model also has pogo pins on the back for keyboard support.
Both Huawei MediaPad M6 tablets equipped with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM, 64GB and 128GB of internal storage expandable via microSD (up to 512GB). The Android 9 Pie operating system based on EMUI 9.1 and with support for Desktop mode to be exploited with the appropriate keyboard.
For connectivity, includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0 LE, GPS, USB Type-C. The 8.4-inch version comes in Champagne Gold color, and the 10.8-inch model comes in Dark Grey color.

The 8.4″ model will be available for order from July 10th and goes on sale in China from July 20th. The 10.8″ version will be available for order from June 21st and goes on sale in China from July 10th.
