Huawei Mediapad M2 Tablet with 13MP Camera and Fingerprint Sensor Official in China

Huawei Mediapad M2 Tablet has been officially launched in China, it is the latest metal clad unibody designed tablet from the company with fingerprint sensor along with WiFi and 4G LTE variants. The Mediapad M2 is available in four different variant comes in two Silver and Gold color options to choose.

The Silver 16GB variant with WiFi has been priced at 2288 Yuan – approximately $347; and 2688 Yuan – approximately $408 for the LTE version. Meanwhile Gold 64GB variant with WiFi has been priced at 2888 Yuan – approximately $440 and 3288 Yuan – approximately $500 for LTE version. As of now it’s only available in China to purchase starting on 15th January.

The Huawei Mediapad M2 tablet flaunts a 10.1-inch IPS display with Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, screen aspect ratio of 16:9 and also supports automatic switching. It is powered by a 2.0 GHz Octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 930 processor along with Mali-T628 MP4 GPU. It comes with 2GB/3GB RAM and packs 16GB/64GB of internal storage which can also be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

This Huawei Mediapad M2 features a 13-megapixel autofocus primary camera on the back with LED flash and there is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. Its equipped with 1W 4 speakers designed by Harmon & Kardon along with Clar-Fi audio tech. that can deliver fantastic surround sound. There are 2 speakers for treble and other 2 for bass and all this facilitates by Power Amplifier chip and SWS 2.0 Surround Sound tech.

The Huawei Mediapad M2 10.1 Tablet runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and packs in a 6600mAh battery out of the box that can offers a whole day juice to device. Along with that Huawei also unveiled the M-Pen, it is said to that it supports more than 2048 pressure points and offers a “Pen Like Writing Experience”.
