Huawei Mate 10 and 10 Pro Closed Beta for EMUI 8.1 Android 8.1 Oreo Started

Huawei has launched the Closed Beta program dedicated to Huawei Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro and Porsche Design, through which a small circle of users will be able to test the new Chinese ROM based on EMUI 8.1 and Android 8.1 Oreo operating system.

At the moment a total of 2000 participants are expected; 1000 slots are reserved for Mate 10 users (ALP-AL00 and ALPTL00), while another 1000 divide between Mate 10 Pro and Porsche Design (BLA-TL00 and BLA-AL00). Obviously, this beta test program is reserved for Chinese users, it is not possible to test the ROM on US devices, however, it is particularly interesting to stay up-to-date on the firmware developments of Huawei’s top range devices, so you know in advance what you can get our market.

For now, it is not clear if the new firmware also includes the expected Turbo GPU function, so we will have to wait for the first feedback from users who have had the opportunity to install it on their device.
