As leaked recently, Huawei has officially announced the Maimang 6 smartphone in China, which is also said to be introduced globally as Huawei Mate 10 Lite along with the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro smartphones next month. It is mid-range smartphone comes with the 18:9 Full HD+ display, dual rear camera setup, and fingerprint sensor from the Huawei being launched today.

The Huawei Maimang 6 features a 5.9-inch 18:9 full-screen display with minimal bezels and Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 2.5D curved glass protection on top of it. The device has a metal frame unibody design and it is powered by a 2.36 GHz octa-core processor which supported by Kirin 659 chipset paired with MaliT830-MP2 GPU and 4GB of RAM. It packs a 64GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 256GB.
On the camera front, the Maimang 6 bears a dual camera sensor: 16-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, and secondary is 2-megapixel camera sensor to capture depth information. For selfie there are also front dual camera sensors: a 13-megapixel front camera with a secondary 2-megapixel camera and front LED flash to capture bright selfie in any light conditions. The Huawei Maimang 6 comes equipped with a rear fingerprint sensor to unlock the device quickly.
The handset runs on Android 7.0 Nougat-based on Huawei EMUI 5.1 out of the box. It packs a 3340mAh battery and supports dual SIM slot with dual standby, For connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.2, and NFC. The Huawei Maimang 6 price in China is CNY 2,399 – approximately $364 and it comes in Obsidian Black, Streamer Gold, and Aurora Blue color options. The device is available for pre-order starting from today and will go on sale from September 30 in China.
