Huawei launches Honor VR Room 360 Camera and VR BOX for V9

Huawei officially released the Honor V9 smartphone in China, flagship capable of going beyond the ambitions of the current Honor 8 thanks to a more convincing hardware capability. But it was not the only news of the day, the Shenzhen house has in fact also presented various accessories including: the VR box, and a 360 degree camera for for V9. 

Of course, the most up-to-date feature is the VR functionality support. Huawei claims that the Honor V9 package box can be assembled step by step and used as VR glasses, so the user can enjoy the surprise VR experience. The powerful chip brings more powerful computing capacity, improve the VR fluency, using the latest generation ARM Mali-G71 GPU, frequency up to 850MHz, the latest generation of powerful graphics processors, will bring high-end performance. Along with the 2K display the VR performance would be more fluent; high-precision Sensor can effectively track the head position, and make VR vision more natural.

In addition, Huawei also launched the brand new 360 degree camera – Honor VR Room (unofficial name from Chinese source). Users can plug the VR Room panorama camera in Honor V9, and ready to capture a panoramic image and videos. 

Huawei also said that the 360-degree camera comes with a built-in image stabilization algorithm, greatly enhance the panoramic picture quality. At the same time it can also record a panoramic video and broadcast live video or real-time clip, user can upload to Youku, and other platforms.

Huawei also claims that V9 comes with an innovative camera mode, with a large aperture photo & video mode, 3D creative shooting, and black and white camera mode. Large aperture photo mode allows user to take pictures with more people in a single frame. Large aperture video mode can change the focus and aperture size in real time.
