Along with the Honor 20S, the company also announced the Huawei Honor Play 3 smartphone in China. This new Honor Play phone comes with a 6.36-inch All-View display, Kirin 710F SoC, Triple rear cameras, and 4000mAh battery.
Price and Availability
The Huawei Honor Play 3 price in China starts from CNY 999 – approximately $139 for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version, and the 4GB RAM with 128GB storage version costs CNY 1299 – approximately $181. It is now available for order, comes in Black, Blue and Red colors and will be available from September 17th.
Honor Play 3 Specifications
The Honor Play 3 features a 6.36-inch All-View display with HD+ (1560 x 720 pixels) resolution, punch hole screen with a front camera, 4.5mm small hole and minimal bezels for up to 90% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by a 2.2 GHz octa-core processor which supported by HUAWEI Kirin 710F 12nm CPU with ARM Mali-G51 MP4 GPU and 4GB / 6GB RAM with 64GB storage, 4GB RAM with 128GB storage, expandable memory up to 512GB with microSD.
On the camera front, the Huawei Honor Play phone flaunts a 48-megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel with f/2.4 aperture for depth of field lens. For selfie, there is an 8-megapixel in-screen front camera with f/2.0 aperture and face unlock.
The Honor Play 3 has a gradient back and it doesn’t have a fingerprint sensor. The device runs on Android 9.0 Pie -based on EMUI 9.1.1 out of the box. It packs a 4000mAh battery and for connectivity includes Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0 LE, GPS, MicroUSB. The device measures 159.81×76.13×8.13mm and weigh 176 grams.
