Huawei Honor 5c with 4G VoLTE, Kirin 650 SoC and 13MP Camera Launched

Huawei Honor 5c has been officially launched at GMIC 2016 – Global Mobile Internet Conference at the National Convention Center in China. It is the latest affordable smartphone from the company in the Honor series, it is to successor of the Huawei Honor 4C was launched back in 2015. Huawei Honor 5c price is also very reasonable around 899 Yuan – approximately $138 USD for 4G, while There’s another dual 4G + VoLTE variant will cost 999 Yuan – approximately $154 USD.

The Huawei Honor 5c features a 5.2-inch IPS display with Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, along with 16 million pixels that can deliver a high pixel density of 423ppi. It is powered by all new Kirin 650 octa-core chipset clocked at 2.0 GHz or 1.7 GHz quad-core processor clubbed with Mali-T830 GPU. The device packs in 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 128GB with the help of microSD card slot.

On the camera front, the Honor 5c bears a 13-megapixel autofocus primary camera with CMOS sensor and LED flash. It shoots Full HD 1080p videos at 30fps. It has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with wide angle lens to capture group selfies and quality video chatting. This new Huawei Honor Phone camera also feature various shooting modes such as Professional camera, ten skin, gourmet, time-lapse, Full Focus, Watermark, Panorama, Smile shutter, continuous shooting and HDR. It also features fingerprint sensor 2.0 which placed on the back that can unlock the device in just 0.5 seconds and also supports fingerprint payments.

The Honor 5c runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Huawei EMUI 4.1 interface on top. It packs a 3000mAh battery under the hood. It has a dual SIM card slot on board along with 4G LTE or VoLTE, including 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, microUSB 2.0, 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio as  connectivity options.
