Huawei G Power with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and 4000mAh Battery Launched in Nigeria

Huawei smartphone manufacturer on Today confirmed its plans of partnering with Jumia – a Nigerian Online retailer and revealed plans of launching new battery-focused smartphone named Huawei G Power in Nigeria. It is said to be the Huawei G Power is very similar handset to recently launched Honor Holly 2 Plus in India.The G Power flaunts a 5.0-inch IPS display with HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels that can deliver a pixel density of 294ppi. The screen is also protected by Asahi DragonTrail glass. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad-core 64-bit MediaTek MT6735 processor along with Mali-T720 GPU. It packs in 2GB of RAM and comes with 16GB of internal storage which can also be expanded via microSD card.

The handset comes with a 13-megapixel autofocus primary camera on the back with d/2.0 aperture and LED flash. There is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. Rear camera can record Full HD 1080p videos at 30 fps. While the front camera has 84 degree wide angle lens to capture wide group selfie.

The G Power runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop based on Huawei EMUI 3.1 interface on top of it. It packs in a powerful 4000mAh battery out of the box that can offer up to 39 hours of Talk time, up to 15 hours of web browsing, up to 113 hours of audio and 18 hours of video playback time.The handset also supports Quick Charging and can deliver up to 3 hours of talk time after 10 minutes charging. According to the company, the device can work in idle mode for 24 hours with only 10 percent battery. There is also support for reverse charging, so you can charge other devices via OTG.

It supports Dual SIM 4G connectivity, other connectivity options includes 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG, a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio options.

The Huawei G Power is up for pre-order via Jumia currently and available in White, Black and Gold color variants.
