HTC O2 with 6 inch Display and Snapdragon 820 SoC Leaked

Under these circumstances, Cher Wang, CEO of HTC told the shareholders that the company will launch a new high-end model with a completely new design, do not follow the footsteps of the One line, this new phone is considered as Hero will help HTC to overcome from the current crisis.

Recently, appear more information about the handset that Cher Wang claimed. Specifically, the new device will be called the HTC O2 running on Snapdragon 820 processor. According to the latest report from China, the HTC O2 will be equipped with 6-inch QHD display with a 2K resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and pixel density of 490ppi, while the screen will be slender with ultra-thin rim edges. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with quad-core (four custom Hydra cores) CPU and Adreno 530 GPU, which quite different from the other HTC phone specifications.

The HTC O2 will own powerful configuration, other details of the device include 4GB RAM, 64 or 128GB internal memory; a 20.7-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera to capture wide selfie. HTC O2 will come with a very long lasting battery up to 3500mAh for long time usage. Specifically, HTC O2 will support the water resistant feature with an IP certificate. In addition, there will be an integrated BoomSound speakers on O2.

The new device will be available in the first quarter of 2016. Currently, the official information about this HTC handset has not been announced.
